Rotary Lights Bridge
n 2014, the Rotary Club of Eau Claire proposed adding decorative lighting to the Phoenix Park pedestrian bridge as a community service project, modeled after a bridge in Louisville, Kentucky. The club raised $375,000 with support from members, local businesses, residents, and foundations. The lights were activated in 2017, and the City of Eau Claire and the Rotary Club are currently working on fixing lights and a software upgrade, scheduled for completion in Fall 2025.
